The entire purpose of my nonprofit is to highlight humanity and bring together communities. There is so much suffering in the world and I care about it all. So, in my hometown of over 20 years, I want to do those things here. I want to help the world and invite the world here to pursue that mission of world peace.
To help the causes we care about, I am inviting the artists that care about humanity to help us raise money for organizations that help children and those suffering around the world, including those here in the United States and the community hosting us. .
The specifics of which organizations will be the beneficiaries will be updated as I receive responses from those I have reached out to for their involvement.
We would like to invite vendors from around the country, who use a percentage of their profits to help charitable causes or would like to do so, to come and sell their products while helping humanity.
“All Our Children” comes from my answer when I begged, while praying, how to show the world that they were all of our children. I was answered the next day when a family reached out for help, A family from across the world, whose child was identical to my child of Turtle Island.
This event would take place with corresponding events of hope in the areas of suffering in our world. They would be invited to share their art, stories and virtual presence as we collaborate in working towards humanity and the basic concept that all children are our children. Friends of Congo have agreed to hold such an event and God willing, my friends in Palestine will too.
Focusing on all of our children, this is a family friendly festival.
Many people long to learn about their heritage, knowledge banned or lost through oppression and assimilation. We invite the First Nations and those in the world who want to share or demonstrate their knowledge, traditions, arts and skills with those of us longing to learn or just come to let us learn who you are as human beings.
As an artist myself, I am inviting the other artists of the world, who would like to help humanity using their talents, to share that art while helping raise money to help the causes they care about.
This part of the dream is for the future, if not possible now:
The First Nations coming to where the Song of the Hiawatha was performed and sharing the stories They want to share through the same platform.
Because this is sacred land, this part of the festival is contingent on approval of those involved with the land and will not happen w
This part of the dream is for the future, if not possible now:
The First Nations coming to where the Song of the Hiawatha was performed and sharing the stories They want to share through the same platform.
Because this is sacred land, this part of the festival is contingent on approval of those involved with the land and will not happen without their approval and leadership..
Keeping something sacred, also means that this part is not something that can be profited from; it would be an invitation for knowledge and sharing stories.
Aside from being on sacred First Nations land and being disrespectful to exclude them; they are a vital part of this community and should have more focus on sacred land.
This is the dream. I understand it might not happen, but here is how I dream of it.
